Cast nylon is a polyamide engineering plastic produced by pouring liquid monomer into a mold where it polymerizes in place, rather than being extruded from pellets. The casting process results in higher crystallinity and improved load-bearing capability compared to extruded nylon, making it well suited for gears, bushings, wear pads, and rollers in industrial applications.
