Thermoset laminate tubes are manufactured by winding glass-fabric or cotton-fabric prepreg around a mandrel and curing under heat and pressure, producing dense, void-free walls with consistent OD/ID dimensions. Glass-epoxy tube in G-10 and FR-4 grades offers the same high mechanical properties as sheet and rod — including tensile strengths up to 40,000–65,000 psi — in a hollow form optimized for sleeve bearings, fluid conduits, and structural spacer applications. Wall thickness and OD/ID combinations vary by grade and stock size.
