What is PPA?
PPA plastic (polyphthalamide) is a high-performance semi-aromatic polyamide that outperforms standard nylon grades in thermal resistance, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance. The semi-aromatic backbone of PPA raises its heat deflection and continuous service temperature well above PA6 and PA66, making it the leading nylon material choice for applications where conventional polyamides fall short. PPA delivers excellent stiffness, dimensional stability under load, and resistance to aggressive chemicals including many automotive fluids, lubricants, and industrial solvents.
